FAIR PROCESSING NOTICE REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA PURSUANT TO PROCEDURES AND PRINCIPLES OF LAW NO.6698 ON PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA (“THE LAW”)
As Vona Law Firm, we pay attention to collecting, processing, and protecting of personal data within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). As a “Data Controller”, within the scope of the Law, we intend to explain how your personal data is gathered, what are the purposes of the processing, and areas of use.
HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND WITH WHICH LEGAL REASONS
Your personal data is transmitted to us by filling out the form on our website. In addition, your data may be collected through your verbal, physical, or electronic transmission to us. We process your personal data with your consent.
PURPOSES FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data; which includes your full name, phone number, e-mail, and other personal data you shared with us upon communication form, can be used for contacting you, responding to your demands, and evaluating your CV in case you share.
In the scope of the Law, special categories of personal data are mentioned separately. These; data related to your race, ethnic origin, political opinions, philosophical beliefs, religion, sect or other beliefs, appearance and dressing, association membership, foundation or trade union, health, sexual life, criminal conviction and security measures, and biometrics and genetics. If you share any of these data with us, we would like to indicate that you are giving your explicit consent to process this data by ticking the checkbox.
We certainly do not process your personal data for any other purposes than the ones we have shared with you, and your personal data will be retained for a period stipulated in the relevant legislation or for a period necessary for achieving the purpose.
TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA TO THE THIRD PARTIES
We only share your personal data with the relevant institution if required by law or if requested by a public institution and organization. If such a situation occurs, we will definitely inform you.
YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE LAW OF THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
As per Article 11 of the Law, you will have the right to;
- be informed whether or not your personal data have been processed; and if so, to request information as to such processing,
- be informed about the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose
- be informed about the third parties in the country or abroad to whom your personal data have been transferred
- request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
Additionally, you can request the deletion, destruction, or anonymization of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the Law.
However, we will evaluate which method is the most appropriate, or whether applicable or not at the time of your request and apply that method; but you reserve the right to ask us why we chose such method at any time.
If you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data, you may request compensation for the damage.
We will try to finalize your requests in your application, within thirty (30) days, depending on the nature of the request. These applications are currently free of charge. However, if the transaction requires an extra cost, a fee may be charged at the rate specified by the Personal Data Protection Board.
You can submit your application by filling out the form on our website regarding the processing of your personal data. In order to determine whether the application is yours and thus to protect your rights, we may respond to your email address and we may ask you to confirm whether the application is yours.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND WHEN DO WE DISPOSE OF IT?
At Vona Law Firm, we keep the resumes of the candidates for 1 year and destroy them at the end of the 1-year period if no employment contract is established with the relevant candidate. We keep the resumes of the recruited candidates as long as the employment contract continues and destroy them 6 months after the termination of the employment contract.
