Kerem Cem SANLI
After completing his LL.B. at Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1996, Kerem Cem Sanlı completed his LL.M. at Marmara University, Institute of Social Sciences with the thesis entitled “Prohibitions in the Act of Protection of Competition and the Nullity Regime of the Legal Transactions Contrary to These Prohibitions”. He completed a second LL.M. program at Harvard University with a Project of Monopoly Pricing in Antitrust Laws. He received her Ph.D. degree in 2006 from Marmara University, Institute of Social Sciences with a thesis entitled “Law and Economics and Economic Analysis of Tort Law”. He became an associate professor in 2017 with his book Sözleşme Hukukuna Ekonomik Bakış ve Sözleşme Yaptırımlarının Ekonomik Analizi (Economic Analysis of Contract Law and Remedies From Law and Economics Perspective).
He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Law at Istanbul Bilgi University. He teaches Law of Obligations and Property Law, Competition Law and Economic Analysis of Law in undergraduate and graduate programs. Since 2010, he has been the Director of the Competition Law and Policy Research Center, and he has been leading the organization of academic events such as conferences, panels, seminars, and certificate programs in the field of Competition Law.
